English translation of this title is don't sit at home, plant bulbs (in polish it sounds better), nevertheless, I'm organizing this action already third year in a row. I'm buying a few hundreds bulbs of tulips, daffodils, snowdrops and grape hyacinths, and I plant them between september and november in nearby areas. Not in my garden. I like to contribute to the community, maybe in a simple way, by making my surrounding more colorful and green, but I believe that plants and flowers have some "magic", calming and inspiring power.
Also costs are not so big, if you order bulbs earlier they can be really chip. Of course many of them are getting stolen after first bloom, just this spring I was really happy with my daffodils blooming in the wild, just to discover a few days later that someone dig them out. But still, they will not stole everything, and if more and more flowers will there they will become some common good and people will protect them, or even join action. I really love to see people taking care of bulbs I planted, like on this image, someone even draped them around with pebbles.
Tbh. this is also something what keeps me sain during the fall and winter season, I have something to wait for, and it is really one of the greatest feelings - to watch your plants growing in the spring!
